Our Staff

Our diverse staff brings a wealth of experience and talent to the table, ensuring excellence in every project. Our staff works year-round to develop, manage, and execute all of the foundation’s programs and community outreach efforts.

Kyle LeMaire

Executive Director

Read Bio

Kyle LeMaire, a multifaceted artist and leader in the world of performing arts. With a diverse background in arts administration, directing, acting, and teaching, he is thrilled to join JFFA as their Executive Director where he continues to foster artistic excellence and cultural enrichment.

He has served as the Associate Artistic Director and Education Director for the Open Arts Alliance, leaving a positive impact on the organization’s artistic direction and programs including the creation of their young artist programs. He has also worked as the Business Manager for The Victory Dance Project, a dance company focused around strength and resilience under the direction of Amy Jordan. AS Associate Artistic Director for The Other Realm Theatre and Education Director for The Acting Space in NYC he has played a crucial role in nurturing emerging talent within the theatrical community.

As a director and actor, Kyle has graced numerous prestigious stages across NYC and beyond. Some of his notable credits include  The Signature Theatre, The Cherry Lane, The Mint, Musical Theatre Factory, Soundbite Theatre Festival, Don’t Tell Mammas, The Duplex, Virginia Rep and TheatreWorks/USA. He has also made appearances on television, including notable roles in HBO’s Girls and CBS’s Bull. 

In the realm of education, Kyle is a dedicated and accomplished teaching artist. He has shared his expertise at esteemed institutions such as Broadway Triple Threat in NYC, the Center for the Performing Arts in New Jersey, Theatre Baton Rouge, Virginia Rep, and the Musical Theatre Program at The New School for Drama. He has also taught Pre-K through High School in the public school system. 

Kyle holds a B.S in Theatre from Northwest State University and a MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama.  As a proud member of Actors Equity Association and SAG/AFTRA, Kyle remains committed to upholding the highest professional standards in the performing arts industry.

Working as volunteers, the community leaders who make up the Board of Juan de Fuca Foundation for the Arts are the critical component maintaining the link between JFFA and the community. Our JFFA Board of Directors is responsible for hiring the Executive Director, approving the annual budget, and establishing our mission, vision and values.
