2021 Juan de Fuca Festival

General Festival Info

In typical years, the Juan de Fuca Festival features approximately 40 performing artists, over 70 performances and 5 indoor stages. Our festival celebrates an array of art disciplines and genres, including music, dance, comedy, cultural programs, visual arts, and more.

Our 2021 Juan de Fuca Festival will roll out a little differently with our priority and emphasis on safety. Designed as a hybrid event, festival fans will have the option to enjoy a virtual festival this year, as well as some limited in-person concerts throughout the holiday weekend.

The Festival Street Fair Hours:

The festival street fair is FREE and open to the public.

 

  • Friday: Noon – 8:00 pm
  • Saturday: 11:00 – 8:00 pm
  • Sunday: 11:00 – 8:00 pm
  • Monday: CLOSED

Tickets

Advance ticket sales will be available online and at our physical ticket outlets: Port Book and News (Port Angeles) and Dungeness Kids Co. (Sequim). Please visit https://jffa.org/festival for more information.

Getting here and getting around. 

Parking & Venues

  • VERN BURTON CENTER (308 E. 4TH STREET): Home of the festival MAIN STAGE. Limited street parking is available on both 5th Street & Peabody Street. The Clallam County Courthouse parking lot is available Friday after 5:00pm and all day Sat-Sun. No overnight parking allowed.

Virtual Festival FAQ

When can I access the virtual shows?
You will have access from 8 a.m. on Friday, May 28th until midnight on Wednesday, June 30th. You can watch and re-watch as often as you’d like.
What does my virtual pass include?
A virtual pass includes all pre-recorded content (up to 20 performances on 4 virtual stages) plus streaming access to 8 live concerts which will be broadcast from our in-person experience straight to the virtual LIVE STAGE.
How do I support the artists?
We’ve added PayPal and Venmo links to tip the artists directly.
I don’t have Venmo/Paypal. How can I support?

No problem! Just write a check to JFFA and send it to our office:

JFFA, 101 W Front St, Ste. 101,
Port Angeles, WA 98362.

Make sure to include the artist(s) you would like us to send the funds to.

If I buy an In-Person ticket, can I watch those shows again later?
Absolutely. You’ll want an In-Person ticket with virtual add on. You’ll get the full festival experience with a discounted virtual pass (just $30 with purchase of an In-Person ticket.)

In-Person Festival FAQ

Where is the Festival?
The Juan de Fuca Festival takes place on the beautiful North Olympic Peninsula in Port Angeles, Washington…where the Olympic Mountains meet the Strait of Juan de Fuca and we have a perfect view of our Canadian neighbors on clear days. In 2020 we are proud to host five performance stages: The Main Stage, Chamber Stage and street fair are located at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 East 4th St. The Elks Ballroom (Elks Stage 3) and Lounge (Elks Stage 2) are located at 131 East 1st St. Our newest venue is in the stunning gallery of the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center which is located at 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd. A complimentary shuttle runs between all three locations every half hour (SAT/SUN only).
Can I Bring My dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on festival grounds (with the exception of service dogs).
IS THERE CAMPING AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?
The Juan de Fuca Festival campus cannot accommodate overnight camping. However, many RV parks and campsites are located within the area, as well as many great hotels. Check out: https://www.visitportangeles.com/port-angeles-lodging/camping
CAN I WALK TO ALL THE VENUES?
Two of our venues are within a five block radius while the third (Port Angeles Fine Arts Center is just over a mile away). A complimentary shuttle is offered courtesy of Black Ball Transport. The shuttle runs from 11:30 am – 7:30 pm and loops from the Vern Burton Center to the Elks Naval Lodge and on to the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center every 30 minutes. WHAT ABOUT ALCOHOL?
Beer, wine and hard cider are available to purchase both outside in the beer garden at the main festival campus (Vern Burton Center) and near the Main Stage at the Downbeat Bar. If you are interested in a Margarita or Singapore Sling then you’ll need to head down to the Elks venue where there is a full bar available at both stages.
ARE ALL THE VENUES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes.
