The 26th Annual Juan de Fuca Festival

Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-27, 2019

Vern Burton Community Center
308 East 4th St.    Port Angeles, WA

The Juan de Fuca Festival is celebrating its 26th anniversary this year.  We’re busy booking the four stages now and we’ll have an update with at least some performer information after the first of the year.

2018 Info
Long recognized for the diversity and sheer quality of its performing artists, the Festival really outdid itself in 2018.   In honor of our anniversary we brought back some of our favorite artists from the early years of the festival.  Longtime attendees will remember folks like Laura Love, Pearl Django, Christian Swenson, Tiller’s Folly, Scott Cossu, Casey Neill, Carolyn Cruso and more.  Also joining us were some  special favorites  from more recent times including the incredible MarchFourth, The Sam Chase, Curtis Salgado, Ballet Victoria, the Too Loose Cajun/Zydeco Band, David Jacobs-Strain and Halie Loren.  And, of course, we were excited about  introducting some brand new artists to our Festival, although certainly not new to the national and international Festival circuit — folks like Con Brio, Royal Jelly Jive, All Our Exes Live in Texas, Keith Greeninger,  World’s Finest, Rosie and the Riveters, Mouths of Babes, Deep Blue Jam and so many more.   With four different stages, the biggest frustration was surely  the inability to be at more than one place at the same time.

Other features in 2018 included a lively street fair featuring food and artisan booths, an outdoor beer/wine garden, morning  Yoga and “After Hours in the Clubs” where the music kept on going after all the festival stages closed down.  Topping it all off was and is the magical location – nestled between the majestic beauty of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca! There’s something for everyone!
