Twisted Roots have been playing on the Olympic Peninsula for the past six years. The group consists of Marty Kaler, Marilyn Kaler, Leo Bidne, and Bob Lawrence-Markarian.
They delight in sharing familiar tunes as well as originals that sound familiar. You might hear a traditional bluegrass or Western Swing tune followed by a Beatles song. And they really like to twist it up by using unusual instrumental combinations such as ukulele, dobro, banjo, and lap steel guitar.
They describe their music as “Boomer friendly acoustic music- with a twist.”
Twisted Roots released their first CD, “Coming Home” with their second CD scheduled for a spring release. FRIDAY, MONDAY
