Getting to the Vern Burton Center

The Vern Burton Center in Port Angeles is the location of the  D.A. Davidson Main Stage, Nancy Vivolo Memorial Chamber Stage, Ticket Central, The Street Fair, Art Show, and Kids’ Turtle Tent.

From US Hwy 101 Enter town on FRONT STREET (one way heading West), staying in the left lane until you reach RACE STREET (The second light)  A sign for Hurricane Ridge is prominently displayed at this light.  TURN LEFT onto Race Street.  TURN RIGHT onto 5th Street and head for the first light located at Peabody Street..  At this light you will see the festival grounds to the right. For parking, try turning RIGHT onto PEABODY, then left into the Clallam County Courthouse lot, located just beyond the street fair.  Travel time from the Hood Canal Bridge to Port Angeles is a little over an hour.

From Seattle Corridor: Take the Bainbridge Island ferry and continue northwest through Poulsbo and cross the Hood Canal Bridge. Merge onto US Hwy 101 North and follow signs to Port Angeles. From North Seattle: Take the Edmonds Ferry to Kingston.  Follow US Hwy 104 west to the Hood Canal Bridge.  Merge onto US Hwy 101 North and follow signs to Port Angeles

From Whidbey Island and Port Townsend Take the Keystone ferry to Port Townsend.  Be sure to make reservations in advance at  From Port Townsend take Hwy 20 to US Hwy 101, following the signs to Port Angeles.  Travel time from Port Townsend to Port Angeles is about one hour.

From Bellingham or Vancouver: Head SOUTH on I-5 to Exit 230 (Burlington/Anacortes) onto WA-20-West.   Turn LEFT onto WA 20 (Oak Harbor/Ferry turn)  and proceed to the Coupeville/Port Townsend Ferry.  Be sure to make your advance reservations at .   Travel time from Bellingham to Coupeville ferry dock is about 1.5 hours.  Follow the Port Townsend directions above.

From Shelton: Go NORTH on Hwy101.  This road can be very busy over the holiday weekend and passing is not advised.  Stay on Hwy 101  until you reach Port Angeles. Then follow the directions at the top. From Victoria: Cross the Straits on the MV Coho.  Although a car is certainly NOT necessary, the Coho is now taking vehicle reservations at .  Once you disembark, head EAST on Railroad St for one block, turn RIGHT onto Lincoln Street and walk four blocks to the main festival grounds on 4th St.

FREE FESTIVAL SHUTTLE: The shuttle to the main festival grounds at Vern Burton Center and Masonic  Temple  is located at 1st and Lincoln (across the street from The Elks) .  The shuttle will loop around the venue sites from Noon until 8pm.  Thanks to Blackball Transportation.
