ANNUAL PRE-FESTIVAL CONCERT

MUSICIAN’S WORKSHOP

Artists, particularly musicians, won’t want to miss this just-added workshop on the latest trends and strategies related to achieving one’s goals as a musician and artist, including the challenges of making a living in the digital age.  Instructor Storm Gloor is a professor in the College of Arts and Music at the University of Colorado and VP of the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association.  More details on the Workshop tab.  (funded by WESTAF)_____________________________________________________________________

PRE-FESTIVAL KID’S DAY

We are excited to announce that the legendary “Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars” will be traveling to Port Angeles from Africa to perform for well over 3,000 school kids during three pre-festival shows on Friday, May 24, 2013.  (Rent the documentary, “Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars” to learn more about this band’s remarkable journey from the utter destitution of the refugee camps to the top stages of the world.)
Also on the bill is the physical comedy of Henrik Bothe.  A native of Denmark,  Henrik has performed his eye-popping routines in over 20 countries.
